Baby Voile Dress, Ecru - Emile et Ida

Dress in ecru crepe cotton voile on a background dotted with flowers. Pink and blue all-over flowers. Flared dress, flat back, beautifully worked front. Red smocking hand-embroidered by Indian artisans adorns the bib, holding back the excess fabric which, once no longer smocked, flares out all the way to the bottom.
The long sleeves are bubbled at the wrists by three rows of red elastic thread, allowing even the chubbiest little hands to pass through.
The scalloped collar is hemmed in red bourdon stitch and cross-stitched, again by hand, with red and blue flowers.
A small button placket in the back allows the head to pass through without tearing off the ears.
